Yes, please drop us a message before you wish to attend a class so we can get you booked in!

We currently offer:

Latin (Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Jive, Paso Doble)
Ballet
Street Dance
Argentine Tango
Salsa
Bachata

Our classes cover a range of abiilities – whether you are an absolute beginner or a dance veteran, we’ve got you covered!
If you’re unsure about which category suits you best, send us a message about how long you’ve been dancing and to what level, and we’ll recommend one that we think would suit you best!

*No experience required for any Beginner classes, we welcome complete beginners!*

Not at all, you’re welcome to join by yourself as many of our students do!
We generally rotate partners a few times during lessons, so you should get to dance with a partner and/or instructor at some point.

Not if you don’t want to! We would never force anyone to do anything they feel uncomfortable with!
We would recommend swapping partners throughout the lessons because it’s beneficial to the learning of your own strengths and weaknesses, but it’s not compulsory.

Wear whatever you feel most comfortable to move around in – trousers, skirts, leggings… You don’t need professional dancewear to start dancing! If and when you wish to get some dance clothes or dance shoes for your classes, please speak to the instructors for recommendations.

Footwear for Ballroom and Latin, Argentine Tango, Salsa and Bachata classes:
Please wear something comfortable but not trainers. For ladies we usually recommend flats or shoes with a little heel, as long as they’re not high stilettos.
Heel protectors must be worn on high heels or dance heels at all times – this protects the heel tips of your shoes as well as our beautiful dancefloor! Heel protectors are available to purchase at reception (£1.50 per pair) if you don’t have any.

If you’re looking for some new shoes, we have a selection of ladies’ and men’s shoes from International Dance Shoes displayed at the studio which you’re welcome to try on. Please get in touch if you would like to purchase Ballroom and Latin dance shoes through us or dancewear from Romeo Dance Academy’s own practicewear line.

At the moment these types of lessons are available in the form of Private Lessons with our Director Accursio Romeo – please do get in touch with us to discuss your needs so we can provide the best experience possible for you!
