We hope to introduce new dance styles such as Street Dance, Commercial, Breakdancing and Contemporary soon.

What experience do I need to have?
Our classes cover a range of abiilities - whether you are an absolute beginner or a dance veteran, we've got you covered!
If you're unsure about which category suits you best, send us a message about how long you've been dancing and to what level, and we'll recommend one that we think would suit you best!

*No experience required for any Beginner classes*

Do I have to bring a dance partner?
No at all, you are welcome to come by yourself - many of our students do!
We generally rotate partners a few times during lessons, so all the singles get to dance with a partner or the instructor at some point.

Do I have to swap partners?
Not if you don't want to!
We recommend swapping partners throughout the lessons because it's beneficial to the learning of your own strengths and weaknesses, but it's not compulsory. Feel free to swap or stick with your own partners whenever you like!

Where are you located?
The Old Bus Station, 1st Floor South Side, 401 Elder Gate, Milton Keynes, MK9 1LR
We're just opposite Milton Keynes Central station! Google Map

Is there parking around you?
Yes! Elder Gate car park is the pay-and-display car park on site: the immediate first row (both left and right sides of the entrance) as you enter the car park is free after 6pm.
Alternatively, the car park at Argos Milton Keynes Grafton Gate is free of charge for up to two hours, and free of charge after 18:00.

What should I wear?
Wear whatever you feel most comfortable to move around in - trousers, skirts, leggings... You don't need professional dancewear to start dancing! If and when you wish to get some dance clothes or dance shoes for your classes, please speak to the instructors for recommendations.

Footwear for Ballroom and Latin, Argentine Tango, Salsa and Bachata classes:
Please wear something comfortable but not trainers. For ladies we usually recommend flats or shoes with a little heel, as long as they're not high stilettos.
Heel protectors must be worn on high heels or dance heels at all times - this protects the heel tips of your shoes as well as our beautiful dancefloor! Heel protectors are available to purchase at reception (£1.50 per pair) if you don't have any.

If you're looking for some new shoes, we have a selection of ladies' and men's shoes from International Dance Shoes displayed at the studio which you're welcome to try on. Please get in touch if you would like to purchase Ballroom and Latin dance shoes through us or dancewear from Romeo Dance Academy's own practicewear line.
