Code of Conduct - Romeo Dance Academy

 
 
 
Students
  • Students should not carry out any of the following actions or they may be liable to disciplinary actions:
    • Arrange private lessons with teachers directly or through any social media platform
    • Engage in unseemly arguments or disputes of any kind in public when representing the Academy
    • Have romantic or intimate relationship of any kind with a teacher from the Academy, unless it is a pre-existing relationship
    • Express discrimination, intimidation or prejudice of any kind towards other students or members or staff.

  • Students should do the following
    • Arrange private lessons through the Academy - through our email, telephone, or in person to the receptionist
    • Behave in a respectful, honest and appropriate manner at the Academy, through any form of communication, as well as when representing the Academy
    • Take responsibility of personal belongings - the Academy is not responsible for property lost inside or outside the venue, nor in the parking areas around the venue.
    • Making sure that the venue is left tidy at the end of the class.
    • Arrive at your lesson at 15min before start. Once a lesson begins, RDA reserved the right to refuse entry into lesson to avoid interruptions to others
  • Romeo Dance Academy Ltd reserves the right to revoke membership of any person(s) who violates the Code of Conduct, effective immediately 

 
Teachers
  • Teachers should not carry out any of the following actions or they may be liable to disciplinary actions:
    • Teach at / advertise for / lecture at / demonstrate for any dance school other than Romeo Dance Academy in Milton Keynes, Northampton or Bedford without approval from the Director
    • Arrange private lessons with students directly or through any social media platform
    • Engage in unseemly arguments or disputes of any kind in public when representing the Academy
    • Have romantic or intimate relationship of any kind with a student from the Academy
    • Express discrimination, intimidation or prejudice of any kind towards students or other members or staff.

  • Teachers should do the following
    • Attend field-relevant events and the Academy’s own events when requested
    • Publicise RDA events on the Academy’s behalf 
    • Arrange private lessons through the Academy
    • Represent the Academy a respectful, honest and professional manner 
    • Arrive at your lesson at least 15min before start time
    • Take responsibility of personal belongings - the Academy is not responsible for property lost inside or outside the venue, nor in the parking areas around the venue.
    • Making sure that the venue is left tidy at the end of the class.
    • Comply with the Code of Good Practice, ABD.

  • Romeo Dance Academy Ltd reserves the right to carry out disciplinary actions of any person(s) who violates the Code of Conduct, including issuing verbal and formal warnings and termination of contract, effective immediately
